UK electronic innovators Autechre have been quietly releasing albums for almost 20 years, with eight of their records cracking the UK top 200 (although rarely rising above No. 100). With such a consistent success rate, there are bound to be plenty of blip-and-bleep-loving fans excited by the news that the band will be issuing their tenth LP on March 23.
The album is called Oversteps, and will be released on their longtime label home of Warp. The band haven't yet released a single, but you can check out the album cover (above) and the baffling tracklist (below). It will be available on CD, as well as deluxe LP, the latter of which will come on double heavyweight vinyl and will be packaged along with a poster.
Autechre have also scheduled a European tour to coincide with the release. No word yet on if they will be crossing the Atlantic for any North American dates.
