Artists Earn $7.1 Million from Friday Bandcamp Sales
Last week, Bandcamp once again waived its revenue share on purchase for 24 hours to help out artists and labels affected by coronavirus lockdowns. Now, the site has revealed that $7.1 million USD was spent during the period.

Bandcamp announced that the new figure eclipses the previous tally of $4.3 million USD — which was the largest sales day ever — from the site's first revenue waiver in April by a clean $2.8 million USD.  Last month, Bandcamp announced plans to waive its monthly revenue shares on June 5 and July 3, for sales made from midnight to midnight PT each day.
