Last week, Bandcamp once again waived its revenue share on purchase for 24 hours to help out artists and labels affected by coronavirus lockdowns. Now, the site has revealed that $7.1 million USD was spent during the period.

Bandcamp announced that the new figure eclipses the previous tally of $4.3 million USD — which was the largest sales day ever — from the site's first revenue waiver in April by a clean $2.8 million USD.
Last month, Bandcamp announced plans to waive its monthly revenue shares on June 5 and July 3, for sales made from midnight to midnight PT each day.
