Apostle of Hustle Line Up Ontario Tour

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Sep 18, 2008

Andrew Whiteman and his Apostle of Hustle are kicking off a trio of tour dates in their home province of Ontario tonight (September 18) in Hamilton. During the shows, the band promise us via their MySpace blog that they will be road-testing a bunch of new material from their forthcoming, yet-untitled, third album, which is reportedly set to drop sometime in early 2009.

Also, come November, Apostle of Hustle will pick up some new tour support by way of Nunavut-bred Inuit throat singer and sometimes-Björk collaborator Tanya Tagaq, who will be pumping out the sounds of her new Buck 65 and Mike Patton-enhanced album, Auk. Combined, "these dates promise to bring some of that same magic and the spontaneity of live performance.” Or at least this how Apostle of Hustle describe what will go down.

Here are Apostle of Hustle’s tour dates, along with their upcoming co-headlining tour with Tagaq:

9/18 Hamilton, ON - The Casbah
9/19 Kingston, ON - The Grad Club
9/20 Waterloo, ON - The Starlight Room
11/5 London, ON - London Music Club *
11/6 Guelph, ON - Ebar *
11/7 Toronto, ON - Glen Gould Studio *
11/8 Ottawa, ON - Zaphod Beeblebrox *
11/29 Ottawa, ON Zaphod Beeblebrox

* with Tagaq
