We already saw a video for the Smith Westerns' "Weekend," the first single off their upcoming sophomore LP, Dye It Blonde. Now, we have another taste of the band's cleaned-up sound, in the form of "All Die Young."
Backed with purring organ and bolstered by tinkling piano and cinematic slide leads, the song could easily pass for a Bic-waving arena ballad. This massive, reverb-heavy sound was achieved with the help of big-name indie producer Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio) and it's a far cry from the scrappy garage rock fuzz of the band's self-titled debut.
