Aerosmith Slapped with $6 Million Lawsuit over Cancelled Canadian Shows

When they're not facing internal troubles as Steven Tyler loses his mind, dad rock superstars Aerosmith have a host of other problems to deal with. The latest relates to the band's cancelled Canadian tour last August. Pulling out last minute after Tyler broke his shoulder, Aerosmith are now facing a $6 million lawsuit from Canadian promoters Keystone Entertainment.

According to a report from the CBC, the Calgary-based concert company was responsible for Aerosmith's shows in Winnipeg, Regina, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver, and lost an absurd amount of money to promotion, venue and security fees thanks to the last-minute cancellation. The company even faced its own lawsuit from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, who lost $97,000 from the nixed concert.

Keystone attempted to reschedule the concerts and recoup their losses, but the company claims all of its requests were ignored. Now, the reinvigorated Aerosmith have announced the incredibly monikered Cocked, Locked, Ready to Rock Tour, but will only be appearing in Toronto. All dates are below.
