Montreal rapper Wasiu has an EP called MTLIENS due out this summer, and he's given us a taste of what's in store by sharing the track "No Chance."
The song was produced by Dear Lola, who reworked Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River" into a chopped-up, herky-jerky beat. This provides the anxious backdrop for Wasiu's tale of infidelity. The rapper explained in a statement, "The concept of the song follows a girl cheating on the protagonist, and then he takes matters into his own hands — going way too far."
Hear it below. Look for MTLIENS to arrive this summer.
