Now that's more like it. The first track released from Of Montreal's upcoming Paralytic Stalks was a crazy, noise-soaked epic that was hardly the kind of appetite-whetting pop tune we'd expect from an album preview. Now, the far more palatable "Dour Percentage" has hit the web.
This is a soft-rocking, disco-tinged pop gem that's laden with harmonies from singer Kevin Barnes. Yes, it's got a hint of the band's usual psychedelic weirdness (especially during those flute parts), but this one is bound to win over some of the folks who may not have been so excited for Paralytic Stalks.
