Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam Detail Debut LP, Unveil New Single

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 5, 2016

After formally introducing their Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam project last month with a stream of "A 1000 Times," onetime Walkmen vocalist Hamilton Leithauser and former Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij have announced the details behind their debut LP. Titled I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, the partnership's first full-length is out September 23 via Glassnote.

As previously reported, the record is not the first time the two songwriters had linked up. Leithauser's 2014 solo debut, Black Hours, featured a pair of cuts co-written with Batmanglij ("Alexandra," "I Retired"). For this latest album, they've put together 10 new tunes, including the recently revealed "A 1000 Times."

While primarily showcasing the twosome, former Dirty Projectors member Angel Deradoorian is featured on I Had a Dream That You Were Mine's closing cut, "1959."

You can check out all of the tracklisting info below, where you'll also find a just revealed stream of the record's "In a Black Out."
