Following this year's Mean Sun, Vancouver troupe Brasstronaut have unveiled a music video for that album's dark, synth-driven title track.
The clip is every bit a moody as the song itself, as it plays out in slow motion and includes drinking, beekeeping and taxidermy. It's beautifully shot, but be forewarned that things get disturbing during a scene of autoerotic asphyxiation towards the end. It's an unsettling, unglorified portrayal of what is apparently an accidental death, and viewers should proceed with caution. There's no nudity, but we're calling this one NSFW nonetheless.
The video was directed by Kevan Funk.
