Kevin Spacey was found not guilty of nine charges of sex crimes in a London court today.
The actor was accused of sexual abuse by four men relating to incidents they allege took place between 2001 and 2013. Three plaintiffs claimed Spacey aggressively grabbed their crotches, while a fourth said he woke up to Spacey performing oral sex on him after falling asleep in the actor's apartment.
The 64-year-old was acquitted of seven counts of sexual assault, one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent and one count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity.
AP News reports that Spacey began to cry when the verdicts were returned by the jury.
"My world exploded," Spacey testified. "There was a rush to judgment and before the first question was asked or answered I lost my job, I lost my reputation, I lost everything in a matter of days."
He told BBC, "I am humbled by the outcome today."
