Happy love week! Between Galentine's, Valentine's and Family Day coming Monday (February 19), this part of the bleak midwinter is all about reminding ourselves of the people in our lives who light up the darkness. Canadian artists are also seeking to be a source of warmth and radiance this week, delivering a hearty helping of new music.

At long last, Kittie return with "Eyes Wide Open," their first new song in 13 years, and METZ have announced their first new album in four years, Up on Gravity Hill. Rising star Saya Gray is in the business of sequels with her newly announced EP QWERTY II, led by a song "about a spooky moody boy with a 180 face."

This week in album releases, we have not one, not two, but three records from our Most Anticipated Canadian Albums of 2024 list: the latest from Chromeo, Mother Mother and the Once.

Elsewhere, hear the new LP previews from Dan Boeckner, Abigail Lapell, Thunder Queens, Empanadas Ilegales, and Leaf Rapids, as well as the latest cut ahead of Kaleah Lee's debut EP. CJ Wiley, Mike Evin, Skinny Dyck, and more have also released new singles.

So whether or not you, too, are a single, you can feel the love with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
