Published Oct 25, 2013Nicholas Jaar and Dave Harrington's Darkside project dropped by the UK's Maida Vale studio to rep their Psychic debut's "Freak, Go Home" for the BBC. And like the LP itself, it's a supremely chilled-out affair.
As you'll see in the player below, the twosome set the mood with their arsenal of equipment — a headphone-sporting Jaar rocks back and forth while tinkering with laptop and sequencers, Harrington conjuring late-night sounds out of his six-string and a table of effects pedals. Jaar gets moany on the mic, but it's mostly a minimal instrumental jam.
