Before Zulu Winter's debut full-length Languages came out in North America on June 19 via Arts & Crafts, the band was in Toronto for the North by Northeast festival. While they were in town, Exclaim! TV got a chance to record a session with the up-and-coming English dance rockers.
This clip features "Bitter Moon," a standout track from Languages, stripped down to a bare-bones acoustic adaptation. On the album, this song is replete with shimmering keys and explosive drums, but here the focus is on guitarist and lead singer Will Daunt's gentle picking and crisp voice. The new arrangement shows off Zulu Winter's versatility and pop songcraft.
