The third full-length from this Colombian blackened thrash crew comes a solid six years after No Anesthesia (and speaking of amazing album titles, Sorceress Bitch was their debut). Who really knows what the band's been doing in the meantime, but they've certainly got their chops down, coming out of the gate strong with the Kreator-riffic "Winds of War." There's also a black metal vibe, as well as an old school thrash-tinged one, which is more like Sodom than anything too cult. There are a few moments of interesting/weird/clean guitar work, but for the most part, it's full-on Slayer-on-speed riffing. I dig the clean production, which comes as a bit of a surprise, given the rudimentary artwork and promise of raw black thrash that this one has. Instead of that, what the listener gets is a more polished, Teutonic thrash sound that has hints of underground black thrash, but really comes across more like B-grade Destruction. This is fun, but not essential, although thrash anthem "Metal" is worthy of a loud listen, or three.
