Mixing Bay Area punk rock with the distinct flavour of their hometown (think Jawbreaker meets the Asexuals), Whiskey Trench have crafted a great collection of songs that recall genre greats without lapsing into tribute territory. Vocalist Yannick Sarrazin possesses his own unique delivery and, collectively, the band attack each song here in a way that mark them as their own, crafting an endearingly sloppy cacophony of pop punk nuggets.
