Watch "Weird Al" Yankovic Cover the Foo Fighters
Let's make Weird Grohl a thing
Published May 28, 2018"Weird Al" Yankovic continues to travel on his "Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour," and in keeping with the show's title, he's been indulging in some non-comedic covers along the way. At a recent stop in San Diego, that included a take on a Foo Fighters song.
Yankovic and his backing band used their encore to perform Grohl and co.'s debut single "This Is a Call." Asking the audience to cut them some slack since it was the first time they'd ever played it, the band offered a near-perfect rendition of the tune.
Of course, this isn't the start of Yankovic and Grohl's budding romance. In addition to Al's parody of "Smells Like Teen Spirit," the two even suggested touring together back in 2016:

Until they follow through on that admittedly excellent idea, you can enjoy Weird Al's Foo Fighters cover below.
