Having weathered the shitstorm of an unsolicited NME cover earlier this month, UK rapper Stormzy seems to have recovered gracefully from the ordeal if his performance on BBC Radio 1Xtra earlier today (March 27) is any indication.
He took over the studio with a troupe of backing vocalists and guests (including MNEK, Wretch 32 and JHus), delivering Gang Signs & Prayer cuts "Blinded by Your Grace Pt. 2," "21 Gun Salute" and "Bad Boys" before a killer finale in the form of a Frank Ocean cover.
Stormzy and his crew of singers delivered a gorgeous rendition of Blonde's "Godspeed," which kicks in around the 11:30 mark, though the whole session is worth a watch.
