Feist is treating us to a cover of Yusuf/Cat Stevens' classic "Trouble." The performance comes for Justin Vernon's Eaux Claires voter initiative called For Wisconsin, and you can watch Leslie Feist make the 1970 song her own.
"I think we all understand what's at stake here," Leslie Feist wrote in a message accompanying the video. "Please raise your hand, wait in line, navigate the labyrinth and vote. As an American living abroad, I entered the sudoku, Rubik's cube, lord of the ringsian puzzle that is casting an absentee ballot. They don't make it easy, but it's ours! For hope, equality, love and community, please vote!"
As you'll see below, the performance video features Feist performing solo with an acoustic guitar, making "Trouble" sound all that much more intimate.
