Arcade Fire's Win Butler and Régine Chassagne appeared in SoulPancake's Make Earth Cool Again climate change benefit livestream earlier today to play their Reflektor song "Afterlife."

The stream brought "scientists, experts and entertainers" for performances, panels and segments "to highlight the urgency of fighting climate change through supporting low carbon action and education."

Hosted by Rainn Wilson and Parisa Fitz Henley, the benefit also features appearances by Billie Eilish, Finneas, the Property Brothers, Michael Franti, and Bindi, Robert and Terri Irwin, among others.

Butler and Chassagne make their appearance in the stream around the two-and-a-half-hour mark. "We're a Canadian band and our next-door neighbour is not just the United States, it's also the Arctic," Butler said in the stream. "It's really being affected by climate change, and I know everyone knows that, but I think we can make a difference if we work right now."
