Firefost Arcanum marks the North American debut by this Polish metal act, an album that was originally released in January 2003 in Poland but only now gets a proper release elsewhere. Their music can be described as raw black metal with enough brutality and some (though few) influences from the majestic scene. Their main influences come from the Norwegian scene comes across very primal. They need to refine their arrangements and write better songs if they are going to go anywhere. They are not bad, but they are not great either. They are just a band that needs a lot of work in order to improve.
