Trustkill Video Assault Volume 1

BY Jasamine White-GluzPublished Feb 1, 2005

Fans of music videos not usually included in Much Music programming will enjoy the Trustkill Video Assault Volume 1, which is a compilation of recent music videos from bands on the label. The videos range in quality, from the modestly filmed "White and Gold" by Roses are Red to Eighteen Visions' more expensive looking "You Broke Like Glass" and Poison the Well's "Botchla." Josh from Trustkill Records hosts the extravaganza, setting up each video with a little background info on the band or interesting story from the set. Most videos are based on live performances, although occasionally the videos take an interesting narrative turn, like Nora's "I Should Have Sent Flowers." The DVD isn't mind blowing but is definitely a worthwhile investment to have all these videos on one disc. (Trustkill, www.trustkill.com)
