Roadrunner Records has compiled a virtual "metal for dummies" collection under the auspices of a soundtrack for Lions Gate Films' live action version of underground comic book classic Faust. The soundtrack combines tracks from some of Roadrunner's legendary metal acts, like Sepultura, Fear Factory and Type O Negative, with newer bands to the label, such as Spineshank and Glassjaw. Faust is the story of a man who sells his soul to the devil and the violence and chaos that follows that transaction. The soundtrack echoes the intensity and rage that such sale may ensue, with over a decade's worth of tracks. If there is to be only one Roadrunner disc on your shelf, the soundtrack to Faust should be it!
