In case you didn’t get your fill of today’s favourite punk bands covering yesterday’s new wave classics, here’s another chance to sate your appetite. As corny as the idea sounds, it does work on more than a nostalgia level. Even if you were filling your diapers with poo when these songs were originally on the radio, or if you’re one of the ten people who were around in the ’80s and still listening to punk, you’ll be able to appreciate this mix. Bands include NOFX, Rocket From The Crypt, MXPX and Lagwagon, among others. The best thing on here is the Get Up Kid’s version of “Close To Me” by the Cure. It’s even better than the original, in fact.
