American Music Press: Video Archive For The Ages, Vol. 1

BY Max DeneauPublished May 1, 2005

Essentially a compilation of music videos of varying genre and quality, the listener's enjoyment of this depends entirely upon one's disposition towards this overwhelmingly diverse collection of acts. Ranging from Misery Signals' crushing melodic metal-core lament "The Year Summer Ended In June" to Trustkill emo/pop/rock group Roses Are Red's "White Gold," the material presented here is unlikely to hold any one person's interest long enough to merit a purchase. That being said, you can't really fuck with Converge, whose sadistic satire "When Eagles Become Vultures" is the undeniable highlight of the disc. (MVD)
