Danish dub techno label Echocord celebrates its nine-year anniversary by featuring its top artists. Over the years, Echocord has delivered 49 twelve-inch releases, along with nine astonishing full-length albums. Jubilee Compilation includes ten exclusive tracks by Quantec, Deadbeat, Stephen Hitchell, Luke Hess and many more. Greece-based artist Fluxion opens the album with some light, airy atmospherics and deep, dub-y grooves for a subtle, drifting mood. Arne Weinberg (under his Onmutu Mechanicks moniker) moves from techno to limitless explorations of dub. His track, "Calyx," is a seductively deep, pulsing number combined with sweeping floods of reverb and spatial textures that disappear into the distance. Baum Records label owner Resoe (aka Dennis Bøg) delivers a deep, building, reverberating number with warm, hypnotic throbs. Mikkel Metal closes the compilation with "Wahomi," a pop-y, dub-infused house number with grooving rifts building throughout. Echochord remains at the top of its game with Jubilee Compilation.
