Urge Overkill Book North American Tour, Play Toronto and Montreal

BY Alex HudsonPublished May 20, 2011

When long-running Chicago, IL alt-rockers Urge Overkill released their first album in 16 years back in May, they embarked upon a slim four-date tour of major U.S. cities. Luckily, that's not all the group have planned, as they announced a series of summer tour dates that includes two stops here in Canada.

The bulk of the shows are in the first half of July. Urge Overkill will be travelling around the northeastern section of North America, making stops in Toronto and Montreal along the way. After that, they will head back down into the U.S. and wrap up on July 15 in Long Branch, NJ, before hitting up Bumbershoot in September.

It's not exactly an epic jaunt, but at least it will give a few more folks a chance to see the group as they promote Rock & Roll Submarine.
