After what feels like an eternity, Death Waltz Recording Company has finally revealed the release date for its long-in-the-works reissue of the Twin Peaks soundtrack.
The UK label shared the news via Twitter today (July 22), revealing that the reissue of Angelo Badalamenti's soundtrack for David Lynch's cult classic will arrive on September 9, with the release going on sale August 10 and a full package/cover reveal on August 8.
The show itself, meanwhile, is set to return in 2017 on Showtime.

While details are still vague, it appears that perhaps only the soundtrack to the original series is set for reissue at this time, even though the soundtrack to the the show's posthumous 1992 feature film Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me had been hinted at back in 2014. At this point, though, it seems we'll have to wait until August 8 to see what's exactly in store. On sale August 10, 2016.
