Tommy & the Terrors

Unleash the Fury

BY Stuart GreenPublished Feb 1, 2006

There must be something in the water (or more specifically the beer) in Boston because the city continues to produce some of the best British-style punk rock in the United States. The sophomore release from the Beantown brawlers is chock full of shout-alongs and pint-waving anthems that sound suspiciously like they were plucked from 1977 London, not 2005 New England. That said, don’t mistake inspiration for plagiarism in this case. The songs, while owing much to the punks of old, sound fresh and relevant.
