Timber Timbre

"Swamp Magic" (video)

Once again, Timber Timbre have released a new animated music video in support of their latest LP, Creep On Creepin' On, which arrived back in the spring via Arts & Crafts. This time, it's for the ambient track "Swamp Magic," which blends gorgeously cinematic strings with dissonant strumming and eerie clicks and crashes.

It's only fitting, given the accompanying song, that video is a spooky one. The scratchy, hand-drawn-looking clip takes the song title very literally, as it show a dude encountering some magical monsters in a swamp.

In addition to the new video, songwriter Taylor Kirk and his bandmates have a handful of North American dates coming up. The bulk of the shows are in Ontario, but there are also gigs in Buffalo, NY, and Montreal. See the schedule below.

Tour dates:

11/23 London, ON - Aeolian Hall
11/24 Sarnia, ON - The Story
11/25 Guelph, ON - Dublin Street United Church
11/26 Toronto, ON - Queen Elizabeth Theatre
11/29 Buffalo, NY - The Town Ballroom
12/2 Kingston, ON - Chalmers United Church
12/3 Montreal, QC - St. Jean Baptiste Church
