Three Mile Pilot Reunite, Sign to Temporary Residence

It can safely be said that experimental label Temporary Residence has a monopoly on Pinback-related projects. Besides releasing albums from Rob Crow and his Zach Hill collab the Ladies, the label has recently signed Pinback themselves. And it's now been announced that they've signed the reunited Three Mile Pilot.

Featuring the other Pinback songwriter, Zach Smith, 3MP previously existed from 1992 to 1998 before breaking off into Pinback and the Black Heart Procession. Originally signing with the on-hiatus Touch and Go imprint upon their reunion, the band have now decided to go with Temporary Residence.

Besides working on a new album, which is slated for an early 2010 release, the band have announced a run of west coast tour dates for July, which include a stop in Vancouver on July 21.

Three Mile Pilot tour dates:

7/16 Solana Beach, California - The Belly Up Tavern
7/17 Los Angeles, California - Echoplex
7/18 San Francisco, California - Bottom of the Hill
7/20 Seattle, Washington - Neumos
7/21 Vancouver, British Columbia - Richards on Richards
7/22 Portland, Oregon - Doug Fir Lounge
