This LA Radio Station Thinks Eurythmics Singer Annie Lennox "Has Potential"

"Sweet Dreams (Are Made of Unsolicited Emails)"

As the lead vocalist of Eurythmics, Annie Lennox is estimated to have sold 75 million records worldwide. That apparently wasn't enough to stop a Los Angeles radio station from emailing Lennox to ostensibly help her launch a career in music.

Taking to Facebook today (June 29), Lennox shared a screengrab of an email sent to her by a new music coordinator from the unnamed station, who was tasked with finding "artists who [they] think have potential" in order to "get them in rotation on our station." The sender asked Lennox to "please send over the MP3 for your latest single," with the promise of having it passed along to the program director.

The email also wrote of an artist development firm that would get Lennox onto "150 radio stations worldwide," which perhaps don't keep "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Here Comes the Rain Again" in regular rotation. "I think I'm in with a chance ??!!!," Lennox wrote in her caption to the email.

Lennox released her sixth solo LP, Nostalgia, back in 2014. She's really poised for her big break.
