nly a rebellious collective like Thirsty Alley can come from the sterile and calm place that is Salt Lake City, Utah. While musically apt, they're overall circus-like persona may be a little too strong and frightening for the norm. In a vein attempt to relay some similar references, it might be safe to assume that they are a cross between a watered-down Mr. Bungle, at a 1920s Kurt Weill show, on LSD, that is conducted by Ed Wood. Their "arty" brand of surrealism doesn't quite cut it and is reminiscent of when Salvador Dali was banished from the Dadist movement, for his incredibly pretentious paintings of burning giraffes. Make of it what you will, I can't.
