Depending on who you ask, Elon Musk is either the man who will save the world or the man who will push us into dystopia. Former Weezer member Matt Sharp has something to say about it — he's just shared a new song from the Rentals called "Elon Musk Is Making Me Sad."
Nearly seven minutes long, the track offers plenty of lush production from Dave Fridmann and guitars from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner. Still, it's a tried and true Rentals jam with an earworm melody and plenty of bells and whistles.
According to Wired (who premiered the track), the song "tells the story of two boys growing up in the 1980s, both children of divorce and of the middle class, both of whom receive a Commodore VIC-20 home computer."
