The 1975 are coming across the pond before the year is out: the band have plotted a North American tour to support their forthcoming album Being Funny in a Foreign Language, including a lone Canadian show in Toronto.
They'll kick off the trek in Uncasville, CT, on November 3, crossing the Canadian border near the end of the run for a performance at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on December 12. The band will then play a final couple of dates in Newport (December 16) and Pittsburgh (December 17).
Various ticket presales begin Monday (August 8) ahead of the general public sale next Friday (August 12) via Ticketmaster.
The 1975 are continuing to preview the follow-up to 2020's Notes on a Conditional Form with new wave-y cut "Happiness," featuring saxophone blasts reminiscent of the '80s pop sound on I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it.
