Ted Leo took to the stage just an hour before Sloan were scheduled to do the same, leaving the New Jersey native playing to an interesting crowd of people who were clearly there to take in his pop punk mastery and people who were sweating it out to get a good spot for Sloan. Ted Leo was either unaware of the strange mix, or just didn't care, as he and the Pharmacists blasted their way through a 45-minute set that switched back and forth between older and newer material. Leo's vocal pitch was as varied as it is on record and favourites, such as "Me and Mia," showed why Leo is as good as it gets.
