Ludovic Navarre's St. Germain project has been laying pretty low since the release of his 2000 classic Tourist, but he's back with a brand new self-titled album and you can give it an early listen right now.
St. Germain previously teased the release with a single titled "Real Blues," but now you can hear all the pieces to the sonic puzzle with the arrival of the rest of the record. A previous press release noted that the album was made alongside an array of African musicians, featuring "traditional Malian instruments like the kora, the balafon or the n'goni, that mingle with electric guitars, pianos, saxophones and electronic loops."
Hear the globally-inspired collection of songs in its entirety by giving St. Germain a listen in the player below via NPR. It's officially out October 9 via Parlophone.
