After a chunk of teasing, Spoon's Hot Thoughts is here. The long-running indie troupe's new full-length is now streaming in full, and you can dig right in below.
The album is the first that finds Spoon working with producer Dave Fridmann, with whom they embraced "newfound sense of sonic exploration." For this follow-up to 2014's They Want My Soul, lyrics described as "carnal" and "crafty" were promised, as well as instrumentation that provides a "crackling, incandescent, multi-dimensional backdrop."
Hear how that true that all rings for yourself below.
Hot Thoughts is out now through Matador Records. You can read our review of the album here, as well as check out our recent Spoon feature here.
