Split Fifty

We Live Forever

BY Jasamine White-GluzPublished Dec 1, 2004

Split Fifty’s greatest achievement to date may very well be guitarist Josh tattooing Don Vito’s behind on this season of Viva La Bam, but their music is tight enough to ensure some greater moments ahead. The Rise Against-esque vocals are backed by Epitaph-style punky hardcore. The highlight on the record is "Burn,” a catchy punk song with really well written vocal lines. Generally, Split Fifty treads on the safe side of hardcore-punk. It’s not terribly original, but definitely tight and worth a listen.
