Shanghai, China-based hardcore crew Spill Your Guts are ready to mess you up again. Following an earlier pair of EPs, the quintet have just dropped another furiously paced and mashed-out quickie release called Full Blast.
Uniting expats from Canada, Russian, Malaysia and the U.S., the outfit offer up a hybrid of punk and hardcore sounds on their latest EP. "Beasts" is an unholy union of posi-core power chords, metal edge leads, and viciously whipped blast beats. "Blind Path" takes aim at religion, first using an old viral vid speech from a pastor about "crumpling" a kid before unleashing a series of howls that question faith. The title track is a lightning-quick punk cut about living in the moment.
