Something Corporate

Although Something Corporate are exactly that - being on the MCA roster - perhaps they should have thought of a band name with a little more originality. On that note, the photograph of the band on the back of the CD looks badly staged and attempts to display the band as pathetically hopeless, since that is what is "in" these days is it not? Putting the visually obvious things aside and focusing on the six tracks on the CD, Something Corporate comes off as a Ben Folds Five/Weezer car wreck. Once again, originality comes back into play, and although it's not an overly exciting listen, it's still better than the majority of the other imitators out there.
