Sled Island previously announced a number of its headline acts for 2013, and now the organizers of the annual Calgary event have confirmed a heap of additional acts and rolled out a near-complete lineup.
Newly announced artists who will play the festival between between June 19 and 22 include OFF!, the Besnard Lakes, the Thermals, THEESatisfaction, Hollerado, Suuns, Keys N Krates, Samantha Savage Smith, KEN Mode, Cousins, Pete Swanson, Jerusalem in My Heart, Renny Wilson, the Bicycles, Slow Learners, Chains of Love, Burning Love, Astal Swans, the Abramson Singers, the Deep Dark Woods, Evy Jane, Extra Happy Ghost!!!, Dent May, Ghostkeeper, Grounders, Jay Arner, Shearing Pinx, July Talk, Monomyth, Pick a Piper, Peace, Village, Slam Dunk, We Are the City, White Ash Falls and many more.
These acts join previously confirmed artists like the Jesus and Mary Chain, Explosions in the Sky, Swans, Divine Fits, Joel Plaskett Emergency, Iceage, Superchunk, Mac DeMarco, Colin Stetson, the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Torche, METZ, Tim Hecker, Thee Oh Sees, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, John K.
