Rory McClure of Shimmering Stars recently launched his new band Silver Matter, and as they prep their debut cassette EP, the Vancouver group have shared a new song called "Off Paxil."
The recording is exceedingly mucky, as the whole thing is shrouded in cavernous reverb and muddy fuzz. That being said, it's still a pretty tune, with dreamy synths and a hazy sense of pop drama that marries '50s sweetness with Disintegration-era the Cure.
