Silver Creek Folk 'Silver Creek Folk' (EP stream)

Published Dec 11, 2015
Ontario roots rock crew Silver Creek Folk have been ramping up for the release of their self-titled debut EP, recently teasing listeners with the album cut "Don't Go Alone." Well, the five-song record finally arrives in full today (December 11), and Exclaim! is giving you the opportunity to stream the whole thing.
"Feel Like I Want" kicks it off with crunchy guitars and classic rock vibes, before "Dirty Laundry" takes things in a slightly twangier, blues-infused direction. "Footsteps in My Heart" mellows out the mood a bit, serving as a folksy Americana ballad, followed by the aforementioned stomper "Don't Go Alone." The EP wraps up with "One Witness," delivering a final dose of psychedelic folk rock that will linger long after the record stops spinning.
The band are marking the release of Silver Creek Folk with a show tonight at the Hard Luck in Toronto. Before you head out to catch them live, though, listen to their debut EP in its entirety below.
