From the first riffs of opening track "The Dryout," it is obvious Sharpteeth is all about punk-laced riffs, melodic choruses and intense songwriting. Curse of Convenience is a sort of hybrid of Avail or Agnostic Front type sounds - almost like a heavier Hot Water Music. Lyrics are stormy, like the raging words of the title track "this is a perilous step/one that you will regret/your lifestyle's a death style/last time I saw you." On record Sharpteeth come across as fierce and frantic. I can only imagine what their live show will bring.
