RZA Announces Bobby Digital Remix Contest

Notorious Wu-Tang legend and all-around entrepreneur RZA has just released Digi Snacks, the first album from his Bobby Digital moniker in eight years, and has announced a unique contest for fans of the record to get involved.

In a partnership with the growing social network at imeem, the RZA is allowing fans to remix "Stress,” a cut from the new Bobby Digital record, for a chance at $500 cash and inclusion on an upcoming Bobby Digital release.

To enter, head to imeem.com/remixtherza, where you are given free reign over different stems of the original track, including the stems for vocals, horns, drums, and two keyboards.

This is the third unorthodox promotional campaign pulled by the RZA this year, following a Guitar Center/MPC contest in the spring, and the recent launch of WuChess.

The RZA as Bobby Digital will be unleashing a series of tour dates to support the release of Digi Snacks, including stops in Vancouver, Ottawa, and at Calgary’s Sled Island festival this Friday (June 27).

RZA as Bobby Digital tour dates:

6/25 Vancouver British Columbia, Richard's on Richards
6/27 Calgary Alberta, Sled Island Music Festival
6/30 Minneapolis MN, First Avenue
7/01 Chicago IL, House Of Blues
7/02 Pontiac MI, Crofoot Ballroom
7/04 Ottawa Ontario, New Capital Music Hall
7/05 New York NY, Webster Hall
