Ryuichi Sakamoto has recently been celebrating the 20th anniversary of his stunning 1998 solo piano album BTTB. And with the delayed release now due out later this year, the Japanese music legend is treating its timeless "energy flow" to a haunting to new video.

Standing for "Back to the Basics," BTTB strips the work of Sakamoto bare, and "energy flow" is a perfect example of just how beautiful that can be. To go along with the stark composition is an equally stark — though moving — video, which comes entirely in black and white as seascapes, fog and lonely scenery pass by.

Watch the newly shared video for "energy flow" below.

While BTTB - 20th Anniversary Edition was originally due out in November, it will now arrive on March 1 via Milan Records. You can read Exclaim!'s glowing review of the reissue here.
