R.E.M. Treat 'MTV Unplugged' Recordings to Deluxe Record Store Day Reissue

The growing list of Record Store Day releases continues to expand with the announcement of a four-disc vinyl set from alternative icons R.E.M.. The now-defunct group will collect both of their MTV Unplugged sets in one massive vinyl release. The two sets, which took place in 1991 and 2001, respectively, also include 11 recorded songs that didn't air in the show's original broadcast.
All four records of Unplugged: The Complete 1991 and 2001 Sessions will fit into one gatefold sleeve. The LPs will be sold exclusively at stores participating in Record Store Day on April 19. Then, the release will come out on CD and as a digital download on May 20.
