Ratos De Porao

The Ratos have been playing heavy duty hardcore for the better part of 20 years now. This Brazilian band knows how to get the blood pumping. This also has a lot in common with ’80s speed metal, as far as the sound goes, complete with head-banging riffs. Despite the metal influence, this is total hardcore. From the content to the delivery and style, they are uncompromising. Aggressive political songs that have a punch that matches their sound word for note. And even though bands playing this kind of stuff can wind up writing songs that you can’t tell apart, the Ratos don’t suffer from that problem. Each is distinct and some are even catchy.
