When he's not shredding the six-string in Preoccupations (formerly Viet Cong), Scott "Monty" Munro keeps busy as the producer for Calgary rapper Micah Stone in the duo Rap X. Today, they've shared a brand new album.
The 14-track album is called Enter the Muscle Castle, and was written and recorded over the course of five years. The album is described as "a collection of love letters and break up texts to rap music."
As the album unfolds, Munro's vintage-inspired production style proves to be a perfect foil for Stone's wordplay.
