Randy

Cheater

BY Rob FerrazPublished Jul 1, 2002

With the hype surrounding Swedish bands like the Hives and the (International) Noise Conspiracy, it's easy for a band like Randy to get lost in the shuffle, and considering how talented they are it's quite a shame. But even though this six-song EP may not garner them the attention they deserve, it's still a good listen. Three of the songs are previously released on their latest offerings on Burning Heart/Epitaph, while the unreleased tracks were recorded in Canada during their tour last fall, but they are all good samples of the jangly rockin' punk that Randy does such an effortless job of coming up with. And even though half of this is available elsewhere, it's still worth it because the songs are so catchy.
